Hubert Humphrey

Senator Hubert Humphrey was the senator from Minnesota on two occasions, from 1949-1964 and from 1971-1978. He served as Lyndon B. Johnson's vice-president from 1965-1969. In 1968, he was the Democrat's nominee for the Presidency, but was beaten by Richard Nixon.
